"The Kids"

Jasmine: Jeremi's Uncle brought her to us; she was a stray kitten in his housing complex. I think we got her in the beginning of 2003. She is a gray kittie...I think a mix between a common cat and a Siamese.
Jenna: We got her from an ad in the Penny Saver either in late 2003 or early 2004. (I'm horrible with these dates) The ad was for a Shephard/Husky mix for $375 each. Jeremi went over there to take a look and came back with Jenna. We paid $300 but the guy agreed on the price very quickly, so we could've paid less...oh well, she is worth every penny! She is an amazing dog...I highly recommend this breed to EVERYONE.
Jack & Jill: Jeremi's sister knew someone in Utah selling pure-bred Siberian Huskies. Jeremi and I have wanted huskies since we started talking about pets and after getting Jenna, and seeing what a great dog she was, we thought we'd get another one. We thought that we could breed her with a full Husky for great puppies; 3/4 Husky, 1/4 Shephard. The guy gave us a great deal we couldn't pass up; two for, I think, $675...a male and a female. Jeremi went up to get them and came back Christmas day of 2006...or was it 2007...I'll have to find out for sure... They're great dogs and stunning to look at too!
Japetto: We had some stray kittens born in our stables in late 2008, early 2009. Coming out of the house one morning, I heard a ear shattering scream from a cat in the back-back yard. Fearing that my dogs found a cat and was "playing" with it, I ran over to find that indeed, my Jackie-Boy had found a tiny black kitten. Luckily though, the kitten turned itself into a muzzle for my dog. He had his top claws clinging to the top of Jack's snout and the bottom claws clinging to the bottom. It was a sight to see...here this little kitten was eye to eye with this ginormous dog and was screaming louder than I've ever heard before. Jack was trying urnestly to scrape the kitten off his nose without success. I ripped the kitten off him and tossed the poor thing aside so I could scold the dogs out of the backyard. The dogs listened and I went back to try to find the kitten but couldn't...I was worried. Later though, I saw the kitten around the stable where his family was...it turns out, the mom didn't want him any more; probably because he now smelled like dog. She left him to perish outside of the safety of the stable. I then tried to feed him but he would always run away. Little by little, I continued to try to get him to trust me and I was finally able to gain that trust on a very cold night. I heard a very sick meow at like 2 a.m. and was very worried so I went out to see if it was "Munchkin" and it was. He was curled up in a little ball and was walking that way...it was alarming...he let me pick him up and he's been with us ever since. The next morning after I got him, he was the most cuddly and trusting thing...you'd never know he was a stray.
