My baby girl will be 10 months on Friday...10 months!!...
I can't believe how time has flown by. Let's see...as suspected, and just like her mom, Jeannie loves her name. She held up her head and slept through the night since day 1, she rolled over on her side from her back on day 2 (but not again until later)...scared me; let me tell ya!..., she loves her parents without a doubt and is a joy to have in our family. The doctor said her mobility is very advanced for her age when she started picking things up, catching swinging objects, holding her bottle, sitting up by herself and standing (assisted) at her 6 month appointment. She is so smart and loves music...anything that has to do with singing; she'll stop what she's doing to listen. Mommy's little girl!! She has recently started standing on her own and even more recently is able to stand on her own while doing things with her hands or bouncing (dancing). She took her first step last Thursday and another last night. She's been walking in her walker since her little toes first touched the ground. Now, she races around like nobody's business. I honestly think she's able to walk now; she's just lacking in confidence and a little in balance. She's always been a very vocal baby - though not over the top - and just last week I thought I heard her singing to her musical toys. Cutest thing ever! Right now she loves to say 'Dad' or 'Dadda'. Actually, on Sunday she said as clear as day, 'Hello Dadda' while waving at him. She's only said 'Mama' a couple times but it's cool; as long as she progressing, I'm happy. Her newest thing that I hope will never go away are long snuggles. She'll just wrap those loving arms around our neck and hug tight staying there for a long time. It is so wonderful to knowing our baby loves us.
